三十年聚会图标想法

这棵分形树代表我们。每个人在树上有一个位置。有些人离得近些，有些人相距很远。但是无论我们在哪里，我们的根是相同的，那就是我们的母校，国防科技大学，具体地说，是系统工程与数学系八四级。我们每个人都是不同的，特殊的，然而从某种角度讲，我们又非常相似。我们共享做人的原则，我们努力工作，我们关爱他人。作为一个整 体，我们正处于人生鼎盛之时，正在开花结果，每个人都努力尽显其能。经过三十年的旅程，我们品尝了生活。我们已不再是少年，但是对理想的追求依然激情满 怀。生活教会了我们珍视现在，谦逊做人。

这棵树由直线，正方形，三角形，和点组成。所有这些都是线性的，有限 的，代表着逻辑性的元素。通过多年的学校教育，我们的思维变得非常逻辑化。但是真正的成功总是伴随着一颗开放的心。世界不仅仅是逻辑的，我们的思维也是多 元的。意识到我们是有限的而世界是无限的，我们在成长。树上方的曲线代表非线性的元素，同时也代表我们人生的向导和每个人的内在力量。从上到下每种颜色分 别代表精神，创造性，无条件的爱，繁荣昌盛，和沟通。

背景颜色看似随机，其实有着非常简单的结构。这不就是科学发现之美吗？背景颜色同时也代表无限的万物知识。

外围圆圈代表整体。我们是一个整体。外圈的颜色，红色，代表着表现。我们每一个人都有自由意志；在人生任何情形下，选择光明，而不是黑暗，是我们的责任。每一个人内在的蕴力，都表现在外在的世界中。

    愿真理，美，欢乐，爱，同情，和谦逊
    在人间盛开。

关于其中一个有光芒的图标，共有127条光芒，代表127位曾经在7系84级生活过的同学。（127 需要核实。我记得是123位原始同学加上后来加入的4位。）

Thoughts for the 30th anniversary class reunion logo

The fractal tree is us. Each one of us is somewhere on the tree. Some of us are close to each other, some are far apart. No matter where we are, we are all united by root, which is our Alma mater, the National University of Defense Technology, and specifically, our department, the Department of System Engineering and Mathematics. We are all different and unique, and yet in some way we are all similar. We share the principles of being a decent human being, of working hard, of caring for others. We as a whole, are blossom and are living to achieve our fullest potentials. Through thirty years of journey, we have tasted life. We are not teenagers any more, but still have the passion for our dreams and we have learned to embrace the present and to be humble.

The tree is composed of straight lines, squares, triangles, and dots. All of
these are linear, limited, representing the logical elements in us. Through years of school education, we are trained to be logical. Real success always goes with an open mind. Realizing that there is something higher than you and me, we grow. The curves above the tree represent the non linear elements and also represent our guidance from above and our inner strength. The colors from top to down represent spirituality, creativity, unconditional love, prosperity, and communication.

The background color looks random, but it has some very simple structures in it. Isn't this the beauty of science discovery? The background color also represents Universal Knowledge. We are in a sea of Knowledge, but only with an open mind can we let in the Knowledge.

The outer circle represents Oneness, Unity. We are all One. The color of the circle, red, represent manifestation. We as human beings all have free will. It is our responsibility to choose Light, not Darkness in all our life situations. Anything in us is manifested in our world.

    I see Light within you as you see Light within me,
    That truth, beauty, joy, love, compassion
    And humility flower in our world.

For the logo with spokes, there are 127 spokes, representing 127 students who had been in 784. (Needs to verify that 127 is the correct number.)
